I am pretty new to collecting Disney Vinylmations. I try to keep myself from getting sucked into the craze, but I usually fail. It all started with: "The Villains" set. I had to have Ursula. After that, then I wanted the chaser (Jafar). I was hooked.
I only try to get a hold of ones that I really like. Again that leads to FAIL!! I stumbled across "The Cutesters Too" set, which I was not all that impressed with at a first glance. After a very good deal the Disney Store was haven, I soon found myself with the WHOLE set, PLUS another set, PLUS a half of a set.
Why did this happen you ask??? Well I wanted the chaser, The Candy Apple. After finally getting it, I found out about the variant of it - which is a sour green apple. I have to say, the chaser from this set is by far my favorite one. You have the red apple with a cute smiley face and the sour green apple blowing a razzberry. I still have yet to get a hold of a green one. I'm willing to trade, any takers???
In this set there are also two more super variants, which I'm told are also hard to get a hold of. They are The Bubble Bath, which comes in yellow and a variant that's in purple. I like it better in the purple (which i did manage to get).
The other is the candy one which has little lollipops and candy bars all over it. This comes in blue and a yellow variant. I did see a pic of this online, but I think it might be a harder one to come across because I haven't seen it in person.
As for the rest of the set, I love The S'more. He was the only one that I could see that I knew I really wanted.
I wasn't too impressed with the little kids dressed up as animals, or in there weather gear. It looked random to me like it could be part of an "It's A Small World" series.
The doughnut one I could see being a fan favorite, but this fan is going to have to pass on it. The color scheme makes it look very Simpsons, and what's without eyeballs placement? Weird.
As for the ones I missed they, just don't jump out at me. My over all rating on this set would be a 6 1/2.
The chasers are just too cute!!!
